Nature's Treasures

Within the Maison's embrace, each trail is a gateway to marvels: the vibrant dance of a hummingbird, the mischievous gaze of a gecko, or the stately flight of a heron. Here, every moment is an invitation to uncover the pristine beauty of the Seychelles.

Nature's Treasures

Beyond the Sky

Across the Maison, a symphony of birds weaves amid swaying palms and verdant canopies. The Seychelles blue pigeon spreads its wings in splendour, while the Seychelles kestrel soars gracefully through the sky. Deep within the jungle, the melodious call of the Seychelles bulbul echoes among the trees.

Through the Lush Jungle

Beyond the verdure, a theatre of Nature unfolds, where reptiles and foliage sway in harmony. The vivid green gecko slips through the underbrush with boundless energy, while on the sands, playful turtles stealthily nest their eggs beneath shoreline shrubs.

Mysterious Creatures

In the secluded corners of the forest leading to the Hill Villas, elusive tenrecs stir from their leafy hideaways. As dusk falls, the graceful silhouettes of fruit bats perform a mesmerising aerial ballet—a spectacle to behold from the beach of the Maison each evening.

Underwater Treasures

Beneath the turquoise swells of Anse Intendance, a vibrant tableau comes alive. Stingrays glide elegantly just above the sandy bottom, while sea turtles drift by, bearing the ancient secrets of the seas. Amid the coral, long-nosed butterfly fish dance through the colourful labyrinths of this underwater realm.

Crustacean Chronicles

The Maison’s ecosystem cradles a diverse array of crustaceans. Along the mangrove roots and palm-lined beaches, the tireless mangrove crab, a skilled architect, is readily spotted. Meanwhile, tucked away on the coconut trails, the grand coconut crab, the largest terrestrial crab in the world, guards his lush domain.

Realm of the Tiny Ones

Within the Maison’s verdant embrace, the air buzzes with tiny life. Gracefully gliding over water lilies, the phantom dragonfly captivates with its delicate presence throughout the gardens. At dusk, the enigmatic death’s-head hawkmoth emerges, its wings cloaked in nocturnal mystery. Along the damp trails, the African snail tirelessly recycles nutrients, a silent steward of the undergrowth.

Floral Symphony

On the path leading to the villas, a floral tapestry unfolds. Breadfruit trees rise proudly towards the sky, their broad leaves offering a shaded refuge to playful hummingbirds. Nearby, lantanas and hibiscuses bloom in a whirl of colours, while frangipani trees perfume the air with their delightful scent, and Carambola trees dangle their golden treasures, further enhancing the enchantment of this tranquil oasis.
