Protection charter for our Guests and Ambassadeurs
In the context of easing of restrictions following the Covid-19 pandemic
The well-being and health of our Guests and Ambassadeurs is at the heart of the initiatives put in place by Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France to guarantee their safety without compromising the quality of their experience with us, at all times.
The adopted measures are in alignment with hygiene and safety policies already in place at our Maison, and will be discretely implemented by our teams, to ensure peace of mind for our Guests during their stay.
Thus, the protocols, perfectly in-sink with the measures decreed by the government, have been integrated with our procedures to guarantee everyone’s well-being, and to offer those who so wish, a reduced number of points of contact.

Health pass and documentation required to access Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France
For your safety and that of our other guests, and in response to the new regulations concerning the hosting of people in public venues, please note the presentation of a Sanitary Pass in the form of a QR Code (paper or digital version) has become a prerequisite for access to the restaurant areas of Cheval Blanc as well as certain ancillary services (swimming pool, fitness room). Kindly note that minors under 12 years and 2 months old are not concerned by this regulation.
You may obtain the required QR Code thanks to one of the following documents:
For individuals aged 12 years and 2 months old to 18 years old included:
o For Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca vaccines:
- 7 days after the 2nd injection, or
- 7 days after the injection for people with a history of Covid
o For Johnson & Johnson and Janssen vaccines: 28 days after injection
For individuals aged 18 years ans 1 month or more, an additional dose will be required:
o For Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca vaccines:
- immediately after the additional dose when this is given between at the latest 7 months after the injection of the last required dose (3rd injection for people without a history of Covid, 2nd or 1st injection for people with a history of Covid), or
- 7 days after the additional dose when received after the 7 month period
o For Johnson & Johnson and Janssen vaccines:
- immediately after the additional dose when the additional dose is given between 1 and 2 months after the initial dose injection, or
- 7 days after the additional dose when the additional dose is received after 2 months
Specific information for guests living abroad
For our guests residing in a member state of the European Union or in the following countries (Albania, Andorra, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Northern Macedonia, Morocco, Monaco, Norway, Panama, United Kingdom, San Marino, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Vatican), the Covid-19 vaccination certificate automatically shows a QR-Code in European format, readable in France.
For guests residing in a country other than those mentioned above, and who do not have a certificate with a QR-Code in European format, you can have your vaccination certificate converted by going to a local pharmacy, and thus obtain a QR-Code recognised in France. Our Concierge will be happy to help you with this process on arrival. Please note that this procedure is only possible for vaccines recognised by the European Medicines Agency, and does not concern the Covid-19 reinstatement certificates.
During your stay
For your safety, please present the QR code proving your vaccination or immunity upon your arrival. According to french regulations, you will be requested to wear a mask throughout the Maison for yourself and for all your children starting at age six, except when you are dining or drinking, when you are practicing a sport or in the hammam/sauna.
From now on, our restaurants and bars will only be able to welcome you within the limits of the available seats according to the new regulations in force.
Without a valid Sanitary Pass, we will unfortunately not be able to welcome you in all venues where wearing a mask is not possible, namely: restaurants, bars, the swimming pool, the gym and the beach.
If your Sanitary Pass is obtained by a PCR or antigenic test, you will have to make sure that it is renewed every 24 hours. In this regard, our Alchimistes will gladly setup an appointment with a nurse to renew your test in the comfort of your room. This service will allow you in a few minutes to obtain a renewal of your Sanitary Pass with a new QR code valid for 24 hours.
Travel requirements to St-Barthélemy:
Travels between Saint-Barthélemy and foreign countries are allowed under certain conditions and depending on the health situation of these countries and the vaccination of travelers:

We advise you to contact your travel agency and/or your airline company to be informed of the current travel requirements according to your country of departure.
Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle de France may not be held accountable in the event of denied boarding for non-compliance with the travel requirements.
The approved vaccines are those recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA): Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. The proof of vaccination is valid only if the vaccination scheme is respected.
